Here comes the winter!!! This is my most favorite season, a variety of food, green vegetables and fruits are available in the market, to eat. The amazing part is that we can accessorize more, experimenting with scarfs, gloves, stylish jackets, boots etc. And your soft and glowing skin will give the additional charm to our personality.

Chill winds of winter make our skin dry, itchy and dull, which causes skin irritation and chapped skin. It becomes difficult to maintain a proper care of our skin during winter. To get rid of this, we spend mindlessly, a lot of our money buying expensive beauty products to maintain that healthy glow in winters. While, we overlook the natural ingredients, available at home that can enhance the natural beauty of your skin.

Here are some home remedies to take good care of your skin in winter:

1 – Raw Milk

Raw milk is a natural cleanser and makes your skin soft and glowing

All you need is to apply raw milk gently, all over your skin and keep it for 10 minutes and then wash your skin with the lukewarm water.  You can also add a cup of raw milk in the bath water. It will keep your skin moisturized naturally.

2 – Papaya Face Pack

Mash the papaya and banana so that no lumps remain. Add the honey and mix well. Apply this paste to your face and other dry areas on your body.

Before bathing, try this gram flour scrub to get a satin smooth skin. To make this scrub, make a paste by adding wheat bran, gram flour and little turmeric to the curd. Mix them and apply this paste to the whole body for 5 minutes. Then remove it with small circular strokes and after some time wash with water. It will keep your skin soft and radiant.

5 – Coconut Oil

This remedy is very effective for those, having extremely dry skin. It gives instant moisture to your lifeless skin in winter. Coconut oil is full of fatty acids which keeps your skin nourished. Its phenolic compounds work well as antioxidant activity and give you sparkling skin.

Warm up the oil and apply to dry skin area. Massage for a few minutes in circular motions. Leave the oil on overnight. Use coconut oil every night before going to bed.
